THE KOSMIKS USER Personal and Other Information Collected by MINDSHAPE

On our Website, we only collect personal information required to improve the services we offer, to improve our site content and, with your permission, to contact you with information about our services. The type of information we collect and maintain may include the child’s first name, age, birthday, gender, country of residence, province and email address. We will not share any personal information obtained on this Website with any other organization without your express knowledge and consent.

THE KOSMIKS LICENSEE Information Collected by MINDSHAPE

We collect, on our Website, customer information required to fulfill orders for the KOSMIKS member "Space Codes" and related collateral marketing materials. This information will also be used to improve the services we offer, improve our site content and, with your permission, to contact you with information about our services. The type of information we collect and maintain may include company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, country, city, province, contact information and credit card number. We will not share any customer information obtained on this Website with any other organization without your express knowledge and consent.

E-Mails

If you send us an e-mail, any information provided by you will only be used for the purposes of responding to your inquiry or acting on your request. We will not use your name or e-mail address for any other purposes without additional consent.

If you do communicate with us by e-mail, we will assume, unless you advise us otherwise, that you consent to our using the information you have sent to us, including your e-mail address, for the purpose of developing and sending an appropriate response.

THE KOSMIKS Registration

In order to register and participate in the KOSMIKS Website, users will need a member “Space Code”, provided by your credit union. You will not be required to provide any additional personal information, however, we collect information in a variety of ways on the Website in order to improve the service for our users. We will collect no more personally identifiable information from a child than is reasonably necessary for your child to participate in any of the KOSMIKS online activities. When a child registers for his or her online KOSMIKS account, we ask for their first name, age, birthday, gender, country of residence, province where the child lives and an email address. None of this is personally identifiable information, because it cannot be used to contact or identify the child offline. No one with a KOSMIKS Space Code will be excluded from using the Website by not giving us personal information. When we do ask for personal information (such as an email address), it will only be used to replace lost member Space Codes. We will not share this information with a third party.

Consent

We reserve the right to collect, use and disclose your personal information without consent where required or permitted by law. The form of your consent can vary from implied consent to express consent, depending upon the circumstances and the sensitivity of the type of information collected. We will rely on implied consent when we can reasonably conclude that you have given consent to communicate with you by email, by the action of registering for the KOSMIKS website. Users are able to opt-out of participation in the KOSMIKS Website at any time by contacting us at the address below.
